Yay!! I just did Monday Night Burlesque's Kickoff this Monday and it was super fun. (And cold back stage, btw.) It's a great show and I will definitely try to be there for ya. I dont get back to Baltimore except around holidays; I'll be home around Christmas any burlesque-related activities going on?
I really want to. The hard thing is that during most of the year I'm in a VERY busy cover band. We are one of those East Baltimore Dive Bar Bands that literally play from 9 till 2 (with two set breaks of course) and we have to maintain a rep of like sixty songs so I have to rehearse with them every Friday.
Don't worry; that's my resolution too this year. Have another four-hand wedding with Beth this year. They didn't want the Star Wars (idiots) so we're doing the Great Gates of Kiev instead.
You are and always will be my fave mezzo. Because of your focus on drama you always were kinda shadowed by Keough (since you guys have almost the exact same voice) since she always did tons of music BUT I maintain STRONGLY that you sound just as good or better.
Thanks again for the awesome job you did on Monday! Man, those were some seriously awesome poses--hope you weren't too worn out from all that. Glad you had fun, and we definitely would love to have you again.
