About me: This is the Official Myspace of Ed Beard Jr., Fantasy Artist.
Ed Beard says: "I have been Married 17 years and have 2 children, I am a lucky man.
For the past 27 years I have illustrated and painted on just about every surface imaginable whether it was a custom hot rod or Harley , books T-Shirts or wall murals.
From age 11 I knew I wanted to create art in the fantasy based genre and that is all I have done since then.
My fantasy gaming career took off when I began illustrating for Magic the Gathering in 1993 as well as Dungeons and Dragons. Since then I have created a few thousand painting in this field.
In recent years you might see my art licensed for T-Shirts, mugs, puzzles and just about any other product you can think of that works with fantasy themes.
Last year my full color artbook came out "The Enchanted Realm Art of Ed Beard Jr.".
I am the artist for the "Dragon" calendar that you find in your B&N or Borders book store every year.
I have recently started ERS Publishing and Licensing to represent top industry talent break into the licensing field.
At conventions, I am always available for autographs, personalizing purchases, commissions for sketches or paintings, meeting with new and upcoming artists for portfolio reviews and all around great conversations!

YEA! You added me! Thank you so much! We've got one of your prints framed. It's one of the hmm Magic the Gathering ones and she looks like she's supposed to be a sorceress in black? I can't think of the title off the top of my head but my husband had it framed and it looks a bit off in our room where we also have a lot of faerie art and dreamcatchers. Sometimes it scares me. LOL! He bought another one in 2006 when you came to vend at TN ren and well he forgot to get me something but he did buy me a BIG piece in 2005 at TRF which is the male and female faerie in mid flight forming a heart. I LOVE it!
The Orphan Works Act passed in the House has gone past the ideology of creative commons. I love any idea that will take power back into the hands of the PEOPLE, but THE NEW ORPHAN WORKS COPYRIGHT ACT WILL NOT DO THIS !!!
Thanks Ed. I am so glad that she liked them. Happy Birthday to her from me! We missed you last Saturday @ the buffet! But be glad you were gone for kids day...it was bananas. Check out the pix on my page. HUGS!

SWEET! I love bath oils! An..have ye heard? There will be a third jester this year! He's really cool, his colors are green/black. He's more the mischievous type, where Fedeli is more playful, and Kregil is more regal and evil. Should prove to be a fun time this year. Jesters maybe out the second day of Flarf and for sure the second weekend and alot more this year. Hopefully by 2009 they will have a contract...but we'll see about that when the time comes. Right now it's for the people and not the company! See ya in a few weeks!!!

Hi everyone, we were hacked along with the thousands of other MySpace users today. The hacker or Phishing" automated program sent out e-mails that looked like they came from us directing users to re-input the user and password on MySpace when infact it was being harvested at that moment. Simple fix is to change your password which we did within 15 minutes. However several friends had already been sent this disguised smut e-mail. So if you get an e-mail from anyone that you know that looks like a joke it's really a MySpace hacker.
Perhaps part of the problem is that most of the shows are in the woods.
I know what we generally do is loop the upper part first and then go to the shows we want to see and visit the lower vendors in between shows.
Really, the only shows that they do in the upper level are the jousting and the activities at the stage past that--all a bit of a distance from the end that you are referring to.
We usually do a final loop of the top vendors we particularly liked at the end also since that is generally when we make our purchases.
Yeah, I agree, art prints certainly should be in the lower part. But I do hope that you make it back--I was disappointed that you weren't there this year.
