Adam Missimore and drummer Alex Gomez, friends who had played music together throughout high school, felt compelled and motivated on a random day in winter to form a new band, one which would be a culmination of all their most admired influences. A chance meeting in a food court incorporated Brendan McCarthy, a startling unique and electric vocalist. On June 2, 2006, Farallon made their debut at Slim's in San Francisco (as 6 Days to Nowhere), where 200 people showed up for an 8 o'clock slot. Martin Irigoyen was added to the line-up in early 2008, first as a guitarist, then as a bassist, bringing to the mix versatility and an ambitious sound scape. Farallon continues to progress, both creatively and in drawing more fans to their own blend of dark melody, and raw, honest energy.
We are a band that believes in trying to help facilitate change in our society, not just talking and hoping for it. After you check out our page, drop some comments and listen to the songs please check out the story of the West Memphis 3. Click the banner below!!!!!!
