My name is Faren and I (supposedly) make art. I am a graphic designer (or so my degree says) and illustrator and am looking for some opportunities to put my skills to work.
I lack pretty much ANY musical talent, so I decided the easiest way for me to get myself into the music industry would be to design for bands. That's what I'm trying to do, anyhow. That's where you can help :)
I started out designing for fun (AKA for FREE) for my favorite bands like The Academy Is, Cobra Starship, This Providence, The Hush Sound, and Fall Out Boy. While this little endeavor brought me joy and some awesome experiences, it brought me no money, and a girl can't make a living on thank-yous alone.
These days I design pretty exclusively for Zagadka, but am looking to take on more clients. I'd especially love to hear from local New Mexico/Albuquerque bands, seeing as how that is where I spend most of my time, but I am excited to work for anyone who needs me!
If your band could use some artwork of some kind -- tour posters, t-shirt designs, sticker designs, buttons designs, etc, and you like what you see, let's talk business! :)
