yep, i'm off the mesa train. i've been dissatisfied with mine for awhile now--it does a whole bunch of things well, but no one thing great.
i picked up an old 1969 Earth Sound Research head. Its 100 watts, point to point, all tube. basically a fender bassman 59 copy. sounds absolutely amazing.
so yeah, me and mesa...are quits. wannna buy a dual recto 3-channel head? lol
Hey man, I'll try and make it down. I was just out tonight at a show, though, so no promises. Might need to catch up on the old-man sleep tomorrow. Also, I got a kickass new amp I need to break in for about 6 hours. It can take it. Its 40 years old.
