Two years ago this January, Regina Saskatchewan’s, Far From Ruin disbanded. On December 27th 2008, FFR will be playing together once again with friends Withdrawal (Winnipeg), Horizons (Kelowna) and Invasion (Regina).
All proceeds from the show will benefit Carmichael Outreach. A non-profit shelter in Regina which aims to provide harm reduction and general assistance to anyone in need without judgment or preaching of any type.

Far From Ruin was a group of five skids from a small city in the middle of nowhere Canada. We tried to write honest music and promote free-thinking and open-minded attitudes in a music scene which sometimes falls short of being the accepting place for rejects and outcasts, which it is supposed to be. We certainly didn't do anything groundbreaking, but we tried our best to be honest, have fun and play hard. Thankyou for all the fun times.

so i was just sitting on yates street in victoria(where i moved to around 5 months ago)having a coffee with a friend when i see a strangly familiar face. wich was none other than another (pre?)queen city dweller(you know who you are) ...its a small f*cking world
My buddy Mark stopped getting high with me because he now works at the post office and has to do a piss test every other week. Just last week though, I see him sparking up.
