Farid Adjazairi, singer, songwriter, lute-Guitar&drums player from north Africa,"Algeria" living in London sings in his native Kabylian and Arabic languages blended with French. "Rai 'n' Kabylian Berber Music"(Afro-Oriental FolkRock Music).
Impassioned singing, and heady rhythms. The African, European, Asian and oriental musical influences that fuse together to create a colourful and entertaining style. The music sounds very percussive and expressive, exciting and very energetic and danceable music. Belly dancers can be added to the show if required.
Building on the four piece core band, "Lute, Guitar, Bass, Drum Kit, Percussions( Derbouka, Bendir, Djembe, Congas).
He supported several acts for well-known Algerian Stars like Cheb Khaled, Cheb Mami, Idir, Matoub, Takfarinas, Cheikha Remitti, Ait-Menguelett, Ferhat, Akli Yahiatene and Salah Sadaoui.
He has performed and run as an Artist Educator varied Educational drumming,dance,music and lute workshops at small and popular venues
such as The Forum (Kentish Town), Astoria (London), Holywell Music Room(Oxford University}, Momo restaurant (London), Samuel Pepy's pub, (Hackney) Bar Lorca (stoke newington) BBC world service English and Arabic Music Directory, BRTV (Berber Radio Television (France),

School of Oriental and African Studies(London) , The Artesian Well (wandsworth Road), Merton Abbey Mills, Museums, Art Galleries, Schools, and at many other events and festivals.

This is a really catchy tune - obviously about football- I dont speak much Arabic! The London Algerian community are so passionate about football this song could become something of an 'anthem'. Therefore - and do not be offended when I say this - it needs some 'umph', power and passion, more percussion. Cheb Nacim's darbucka player, Khaled Salik is an excellent player. Just a suggestion!
