If you like your Bluegrass 'in-your-face' with a bit of rockabilly swagger then welcome home!
Bluegrass music, highways, unpaid bills, love, laughter, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, prayer, pain, tears, hope, charity and high fuel prices. Welcome to our world!
We are a family first - band second. Mom and dad and four sons ages 20-24. Bill Monroe said many times, “I made my music to go from my heart to yours so we could both hear it”. That’s powerful stuff. We have always tried to honor that legacy. We write and perform music that speak to us first so we can have that ‘conversation’ with you. We have strong ties to the musical heritage and people of the Ozarks. Two of our four sons were born in Northwest Arkansas. Since 1991, home has been in Northeast Kansas tucked away in the Glacial Hills of Jefferson County just minutes outside the Kansas City Metro area. Since 1997, we have toured throughout the U.S. We stay busy ‘on the road’. Our tour van has over 355,000 miles on it's odometer! We have been humbled by our fans by 38 nominations which have garnered 15 individual and group top honors from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) at it's Midwest Bluegrass Music Awards. Including four time 'Entertaining Group of the Year' and three time 'Bluegrass Band of the Year - Traditional'.
Hey guys, hope all is well. Do you know any bass players in the Topeka area? Zach is headed out west and we're on the search. Let us know of any suggestions! Thank you
