If you like your Bluegrass 'in-your-face' with a bit of rockabilly swagger then welcome home!
We are counting down our final few touring dates. The past 12 years on the road with the family have been a blessing and a blast. We will miss the time spent with one another as familiy and the bond that we have shared with each other and especially with our friends and fans. Our eldest son JimBob (bass, fiddle) is now a para-educator with the Jefferson West Public School District in Meriden, KS. He was elected and serves on the city council in Oskaloosa, KS and will marry a lovely young woman - Jennifer Reynolds - on November 7, 2009. Our second son Ricky (guitar, dobro) married his wife Nicole June 10, 2006 and have bought a home in Topeka, KS. She is pregnant with a son and will deliver him sometime in late March, 2010. We are excited for the new addition to our family! Ricky continues to pursue the luthier craft building fine custom string instruments. He currently has quite a waiting list for his guitars. Look for him to tour with a nationally known bluegrass band beginning in January 2010. Eddie (banjo, fiddle) began touring with Grand Ole Opry member Ricky Skaggs as member of Kentucky Thunder in January 2009. He and his wife Jeana were married September 13, 2008 and now reside in Springfield, TN near Nashville. She bore us our first grandchild - Haden Alexander - October 15, 2009. Ed delivered him with the aid of a midwife at their home. Haden was 6 lbs. 2oz. and 18 1/2" and is a great blessing for all of us! Jeana continues to play her fiddle on tour with her successful family band - The Martin's. John (mandolin) works as a pressman's assistant and graphic artist for the local county wide newspapers. He continues his creative efforts composing orchestral pieces and investigating other creative paths. Michelle (bass) works as a Patient Care Technician in the critical care unit of Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. She continues her volunteer efforts with the Ozawkie Fire District 7 as Captain, firefighter, and EMT-I first responder. Bob (guitar) will spend time getting his health in order. He is dealing with diabetes and CTS. We thank you for your support, friendship, and prayers. We love you! If we don't see you on down the road somewhere - we'll see you when the roll is called! God bless you.

If you have a band and would like to work in western central Massachusetts, I may be able to help book you. I started NC Booking back in '89 when I was booking a few bands from Scotland and Ireland. Now, 20 years later, I'm still booking great roots music acts. To find out more, visit http://northamptoncommunity.ning.com where you can REGISTER. Thanks!
