About me:

Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp organized the first Farm Aid concert in 1985 to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and to raise money to keep farm families on their land. Dave Matthews joined the Farm Aid Board of Directors in 2001. Farm Aid has raised more than $30 million to promote a strong and resilient family farm system of agriculture.

Farm Aid is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to keep family farmers on their land, and to restore family farm-centered agriculture. We urge you to think about where your food is coming from! Support your local farmers.

    I am thankful to my family and all others that work 365 a year! We don't get vacations! EVERYDAY we must be there to milk the cows no matter what happens! My Boyfriend and I are out there trying to take over the family farm in hard times right now and everyone says its a lost cause well just think if we all gave up because times were hard we'd be mighty hungry! Think about where that next meal comes from! We are trying to do everything we can to survivve!
