About me:
Hey everybody and welcome! I'm J. Robert Spencer. Currently, I'm playing the role of Nick Massi in the Broadway
Tony Award winning show JERSEY BOYS.
I'm also the writer, producer, director,
and star of my new feature film,
(due to hit the Film Festival circuit
in early 2007 and then get a distribution
deal without a doubt), FARM GIRL IN NEW YORK.
THE FILM...
It's about two guys, (played by Jeffrey Schecter & Joshua Wade my stars, co-writers and co-producers...), who have no luck with women. So, they hold a fake audition in New York, based on a play that doesn't exist, just so they can meet hot chicks and get laid! Think, WEDDING CRASHERS MEETS WAITING FOR GUFFMAN. It's a hilarious script and the movie came out looking and playing sooooo great.
PAST CREDITS...
I have written, produced, directed and starred in several shorts.. all which have recognized and awarded in short film festivals...but I knew it was time to do a Feature. If I really wanted to be in film, I knew I would have to take the next step on my own.
