As founder and CO-CEO of CISUM RECORDS, he designed and orchestrated each part of the label.He led the growth of CISUM from distributing out of the trunk and consignment at mom&pop reords stores to established distribution with a regional distributor. Ultimately, he secured worldwide distribution with NextPlateau/Polygram.The successes at CISUM RECORDS included Grammy Nominations(best rap solo PAPERBOY,"THE DITTY") Billboard Nominations(INDEPENDENT LABEL OF THE YEAR),Gold Sinlge,Top Twenty USA, Gold Album,Platinum Single,Top Twenty CANADA, Platinum Album and other such accolades..."This knowledge gives me the insight and experience necessary to make the right decisions at the right time in the course of releasing a record." explains JF. JF then co-founded the INDEPENDENT MUSIC ASSOCIATION that acts as a clearing-house of information pertaining to Independent music. the association provides a database of information and has a network of companies and individuals necessary to put out music."Its all about the infrastructure,and setting records up right to be dynamic in the market and at retail."
He is also the co founder of URBAN MARKET ACCESS(URBANMAC) A full service marketing and promtion company servicing corprate clients as WSS, BBDO Advetising, 310/Skechers, Raw Dawg Energy Drink, and Universal Records.
