About me:
Showcasing the eco-friendly designs of Chic Aktivist, Eco Girl, Eva Green, Ethicool, Joolz and Moneypenny.
Fashion Means the World – an environmental fashion fundraiser profiting the Miss Earth Australia Foundation and the World Wildlife Fund. On August 6th 2008, the Fashion Means the World team will be more than ready to rock. In the heart of the city of Melbourne (322 Little Collins Street, CBD), five eco friendly fashion designers will come together to create an incredible runway show proving that environmentally friendly fashion is the new black. In addition to the feature fashion show, live entertainment including young and talented music acts and DJ’s will be playing throughout the night. Whilst interactive make up workshops and both a live and silent auctions profiting our featured charities will also keep you entertained. Your ticket to Fashion Means the World also includes a guest pass to Hopscotch Film's upcoming feature. This event is for over 18's only. Tickets are available from Sticky Tickets and we can’t wait to see you there.
Fashion
Showcasing the eco-friendly designs of:
Chic Aktivist - environmentally friendly clothing and accessories.
Eva Green - environmentally friendly clothing
Eco Girl - all garments are sweat shop free and made with renewable fibres.
Ethicool - fair trade gear that is ethically produced.
Joolz - hand made accessories using recycled and eco friendly resources. Accessories Brand of the Year 2007.
Moneypenny - Australian made, limited gear made from 100% certified organic cotton.
Music
Guests will be lucky enough to be entertained by three amazing Australian music acts. Brittle, Dave Powys - the frontman of San Salvador and Delamare will all be playing acoustically at Fashion Means the World
Auction
The live and silent auctions profiting our featured charities will give attendees the chance to score some great deals on some amazing items.

A CLEAN and GREEN environmental biology short course donated by Australian College of Natural Medicine
