SDSU's Asian Pacific Student Alliance
San Diego State University's Asian Pacific Student Alliance (APSA) is a cultural organization with a goal to unite a diverse community and to educate and entertain the general public of the alluring Asian and Pacific Islander cultures and communities. Our organization has a distinguished reputation on campus and in the community for having model citizenship and cooperation. APSA has been in existence since 1972 and also holds a long standing voting seat on the AS Council, the board of directors for Associated Students of San Diego State University.

On Friday, April 20th, 2007 in Montezuma Hall, located at San Diego State University's Aztec Center, we are holding our annual Fashion Talent Show. The theme for the show will be "Walk This Way". The event will feature fashions from prominent designers in the Asian Pacific Islander community as well as from the general community. There will be various talent and exhibition acts from all over the Southern California region, including dance troupes and musical artists competing for this years title of Fashion Talent Shows Best Act.

AB Samahan of SDSU	Mar 13 2008 6:59 AM On behalf of Andres Bonifacio Samahan, we humbly invite you to Filipino Culture Night (FCN) held on March 20, 21, 22, 2008 presented at San Diego State University’s Don Powell Theatre. Andres Bonifacio Samahan is a Filipino-American non-profit student organization and one of the largest at San Diego State University . Since our establishment in 1971, we have thrived to preserve Filipino culture by means of community service, political awareness, academic excellence, and social activities. This year’s production will mark as our 23rd Annual Filipino Culture Night titled, More Than Words. More Than Words is a story told through Drama, Dance, and Song, infusing past and present. The story focuses on the Filipino-American author Carlos Bulosan and his life detailed in his classic autobiography, America is in the Heart and the process of putting together a Filipino Culture Night. Admission is FREE, but tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. Email us at MoreThanWords2008@gmail.com prior to the show for ticket reservations. Someone will reply with a confirmation and directions to the SDSU Don Powell Theatre. General admission tickets may be available at the door, but are not guaranteed. There is no assigned seating, so early arrival is encouraged. Show times for Thursday, March 20th and Friday, March 21st are at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. Saturday, March 22nd is a matinee starting at 2pm. Doors open at 1:30pm. We hope to see you there! This event is FREE and open to the community. I mean he has been dating all the hottest girls from history-class and I hear angie might even be knocked up, but it is not confirmed yet.
