Cindy - Lead Vocals & Percussion Before forming her band called "Cactus Creek" in 1999, Cindy had spent the previous 20 years exploring many venues, such as, a top 40's/wedding band called "Winding Road", which she belonged to for 5 years, until she decided to join a rock band called "The Band", which she stayed with for 4 years. Then after taking a couple years off, she went into country music. After traveling back and forth to Nashville several times, she ended up with 2 great CD's! Meanwhile back at home in Connecticut, Cindy played with such bands as "Crossroads", "Higher Ground", "Square One" and has also filled in for many other bands. As "Cactus Creek" changed from Country to many different styles, the name of the band changed to what you now know as "The Fast Lane Band".
Joe - Keyboards & Lead Vocals Joe's interest in music began when he heard Elvis Presley. From that day on he played anything he could get his hands on. His Mom's pots and pans made for some good drumming, but it wasn't until his parents "forced" piano lessons on him at the ripe old age of ten, that the journey started. He played his first professional gig at age twelve with a band called the Beachcombers (original huh?). Since then, Joe has been in bands in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Euphoria, a Long Island based hard rock band, in which he was the lead singer, signed a recording contract with United Artists Records, and sold about 30,000 copies. Since that time he has toured with Tiny Tim (yes, that's Tiny Tim!), attended Berklee College of Music for two years, and prior to joining the Fast Lane band, was the lead singer for the local wedding band Majesty, out of Branford, CT.
Andrew - Bass Guitar & Lead Vocals
Andrew began his performing career in a professional dinner theater in Orlando, FL. with various singing/acting parts in the hit musicals Fiddler On The Roof, Guys And Dolls, Oklahoma, The Music Man, and South Pacific. After moving to Connecticut, he took up the bass guitar and has been active ever since, playing with Recreation, The Corvettes, Paulie B. & the Blasters, and most recently finished a run with Back In Time. To him, having fun making music is the most important thing. He is proud to be in the company of the talents of the Fast Lane band.
Dennis - Guitar & Vocals Dennis started playing clarinet and piano in grade school and picked up the guitar at age 14. While studying engineering at UConn, he continued to take classes in music, and has since studied guitar with Hy White and Bill Bickford. He has been performing in local club & wedding bands since 1983, primarily on guitar & vocals but also ..boards. He plays guitar in pit bands for local musicals and is part of the youth band at a local church. He gives guitar lessons in his spare time, which is minimal since he has two young sons at home. Dennis loves to play. He considers himself lucky to be able to play and perform regularly and is glad to have found such a talented band as Fast Lane.
Phil - Drums & Vocals
Phil started playing in Ct. & N.Y. area dance clubs from the mid 70's thru the early 90's with various bands. Also spent alot of that time as a session drummer. In the mid 90's he did his bit for his country as a member of a band that travelled Europe entertaining our troops. Playing at bases and camps in such countries as, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, & Bosnia. Of late he has been back playing in the area clubs and studios. Now as a part of the Fast Lane Band, he hopes to contribute to the on-going success of Fast Lane. And make a few new friends along the way.
