Fast Tracks Studios is more than just a local recording facility. We can offer full production to broadcast quality at a fraction of the cost as it is run as part of the not for profit organisation, RockTech.
On the play list you will find 4 of our recent tracks. You will not hear them at their original quality due to the compression used to get them onto this site, but they should give you some idea of the kind of quality we can achieve.
The studio is built behind a private house close to the A10 between Cambridge and Ely (UK). It has a fairly small live room, which can comfortably accomodate a 5 piece band, a separate drum studio and a dead vocal booth. There are spacious landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas and secluded lawns and a small decked area. Some catering is provided, usually bacon sandwiches or a vegetarian alternative first thing in the morning and there is a large barbecue area, but if the weather is not so good, we will usually ask if bands would like to join us for a meal.
In short, it is a studio with a friendly atmosphere, but the most important thing is that you will end up with a fantastic quality recording and a production to broadcast quality. The studio is run by two professional musicians with over 50 years experience at all levels in the music industry. The only difference in quality between our productions and those from hugely expensive studios is the cost. We will offer unsigned bands an unequalled production for no more than local studio prices.
