About me:

First off...If you send me a friend invite, I probably won't add you unless I already know you. I don't like the "popularity contest" crowd. If I do know you and you want to be added, send me a message first.

I'm an eccentric and a MAJOR tomboy. I've been happily married to my Billy since May '04 and we gave birth our first daughter Willow Faye in September '05. We're currently working with DHS to adopt daughter number 2...we're just waiting on that phone call! I'm straight edge (don't use drugs, including tobacco or alcohol), I love music (Deftones, Static X, Tool, Alice In Chains, etc.)...listening to, singing, playing it...I've been playing bass guitar since I was 12. I was born in '81 (you do the math), and when I was a kid growing up, I always wanted to be a Paleontologist or Paleobiologist. I've a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught Pre-K/Headstart for several years before making the decision to be a stay-at-home Mom for the past few years, but I'm hoping within the next couple of semesters to go back to school to pursue my lifelong dream of Paleontology!

[noun]:

A master of storytelling

'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com

You May Be a Bit Schizotypal...
A bit odd and socially isolated.
You couldn't care less of what others think.
And some of your beliefs are a little weird.
Like that time you thought you were Jesus.

*****************************************************
Ah yes. I knew there was a reason I've been a blue-hair since '99.
Your Hair Should Be Blue
Wild, brilliant, and out of control.
You're a risk taker with an eye to the future.

Earth faerie
You are an earth faerie! You're sweet, calm, and
down-to-earth, just as the name would imply.
You have lots of friends, and they often come
to you for your honest, unbiased opinion when
things are down. You're easygoing, but firm in
your beliefs. You give off a warm vibe to all
you meet. Lucky charm: Your ability to deal pleasantly with
what life hands you.

What kind of faerie are you?..

First and foremost, I love hanging out with my Billy and my Faye. I'm straight edge, so I don't drink, smoke, or use any other drugs. I also love playing and listening to music, reading, writing, sketching, hanging out with family and friends, faeries, bumblebees, dinosaurs, 80's cartoons.....

  • Television

Image hosted by Photobucket.com I love animated shows (kids AND "grown-up" cartoons) like Invader Zim, The Simpsons (up to season 12), Futurama, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Making Fiends, Mighty B, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, etc. I also watch a lot of stand-up on Comedy Central and shows like Demetri Martin's Important Things. Mostly, though, I spend countless hours watching History or Discovery Channel (and the like). My favorites are Ghost Hunters, Mythbusters, Ancient Almanac, History's Mysteries, and really anything about Paleontology or Archeology/Anthropology. I'm not "religious" or anything, but I'm FASCINATED by shows about religious myths and the scientific and historic facts behind them. (Watch "Exodus Decoded" on History Channel next time it comes on.) I HATE sitcoms, reality shows, "cop dramas," and...well, really anything except what I named. I'm a nerd and proud of it.

Just like tv, I like books about Paleontology and Archeology/Anthropology.

i might go ahead and do that. i kinda like feeling in control with the HTML language and such, but maybe simplicity is the answer. it was 3libras playing, and all the friends were in a line on the bottom of the page. it was pretty cool looking.

Here a flash back to 1995, I was in eighth grade. I loved this whole album, and I mean every single song was good! I had it on tape then (I have since re-bought it) lol and I listened until it wore out...
The singer/ Album: Natalie Merchant "Tigerlily"
    The Song: Wonder

I just wanted to share this song with all my girl friends, it may have a very innocent happy theme to it, but its something we should all sing to ourselves and remember sometimes....

    Have a lovely week,
