As soon as the last stone is set into place, the entire population of the monastery disappears without a trace. Over the next six and a half centuries, strange occurrences continue to ravage the region accompanied by violent earthquakes, freak storms and massive avalanches which render the temple all but inaccessible. To aid them on their quest they enlist the help of one Armando McGee, noted scholar and Mexican mime extraordinaire to serve as a guide on their treacherous journey. They traveled for several months and the hardships were many, but they finally reached the unholy temple. Yet as they broke the seal on the door, they unwittingly unleashed the horrors within; an unstoppable pestilence in the form of a twisted creature that devours everything in its path and leaves naught but ruin in its wake. The adventurers barely escaped with their lives, but as their ship returned to North America, they found that they weren't alone, something had followed them: this is the Fatal Contraption...
