About me:
Hello, my name is Hitem Goode. I reside in Nottingham and I am here to share the best known advantages of driving the golf ball with the FAT Bastard. And of course to share with all the fun we have playing golf here in the GREAT USA. The Fat Bastard ,, Driver was created for the average golfer. As one of the largest big names in golf equipment the Fat Bastard ,, Driver is easier to swing. It has a larger head which is easier to see the older you get. The greatest advantage is that the Fat Bastard ,, Driver gives you a better chance of actually coming in contact with the ball given the large head. If there is one piece of golf equipment that you need, you can depend on the Fat Bastard ,, Driver to deliver countless long drives and better yet it will be the topic for scores of memorable conversations. So many people have asked us where the Fat Bastard,, name came from and how did it end up on a golf club. It was born resulting from a golf round that happened several years ago while on a golf weekend in Hilton Head. Nothing was working well that day especially my drives. After a frustrating 9 holes I spanked a drive on the 10th tee into the woods. There I was searching through the brush and cursing at my lousy luck when all of a sudden I spotted a rather rotund gent staring down at me from a tree branch. I questioned what he was doing in the tree and he commented that it was a good vantage point to see how badly I was playing. Not finding it humorous I felt compelled to insult him for making fun of my game. As you can imagine I called him yep, a fat bastard. The next thing I knew, he cursed in Gaelic and in a puff of smoke he disappeared and in his place at the base of the tree was a shiny new driver. I picked it up and there on the bottom was labeled "Fat Bastard ,, ". I took the club and resumed my game e after taking a penalty stroke of course. I played the rest of the round the best of my life. My golf game was changed forever. I'll never forget the 96 I hit that day. I immediately trademarked the name and the rest is history. I hardly ever hit my drives into the woods any more but every now and then I still catch a glimpse of that Fat Bastard,, sitting in a tree. FB Golf, Inc. mission is to provide a unique “Brand” of golf equipment that enhances the enjoyment of the game, while encouraging fellowship and the fund raising thrusts that this great game offers. Our main focus for support today are the “People who guard our FREEDOM”. Our goal is to elevate this cause to “Top of Mind” within these great United States. In appreciation to those families who have given so much, to show our gratitude and support FB Golf,Inc. will contribute 10% of '07 sales revenues to groups supporting our military like www.anysoldier.com. Anyways, if you wish to improve your game and help the fearless people who keep us free. You can check us out here: Remember that our soldiers have already paid the price. Freedom is not free, just ask any soldier. Thanks for sharing & caring!

Hi Hitem,

Hope this finds you well.
Have a wonderful week!
Peace, Love, Light & Grace!

To become divine is the aim of life.
All is God and nothing but God. Pray to Him. Be frank. Confess all your troubles before Him. If you take one step nearer to the Divine Being, He will come a hundred by leaps and bounds to you. Surrender everything to Him. Let Him mould you in any way He likes. He will remove all defects and weaknesses.

The greater the intensity of surrender, the more the descent of the Lord's grace. The descent of grace is in direct proportion to the degree of self-surrender. Obtain the grace of the Lord through self-surrender. In surrendering one's will to the Lord's, his will becomes one with the Lord.

God is full of mercy, love and compassion. If you pray to Him from the bottom of your heart, He will purify your thoughts, speech and actions in the fire of Divine Love. Kindle the flame of Divine Love in your heart.
~ Swami Sivananda

The soul feels him within itself not only as a fire that has consumed and transformed it but as a fire that burns and flares within it. And that flame, every time it flares up, bathes the soul in glory and refreshes it with the quality of divine life.

With time and practice, love grows deeper in quality, and become more ardent. We have an example of this in the activity of fire: Although the fire has penetrated the wood, transformed it, and united it with itself, yet as this fire grows hotter and continues to burn, so the wood becomes much more incandescent and inflamed, even to the point of flaring up and shooting out flames from itself.
~ St John of the Cross

Hi Hitem Goode,

Hope this finds you well.
Have a wonderful week!

Be calm. Be cheerful and happy. Be courageous. Be self-controlled.
Always maintain serenity under all conditions and circumstances.
Absolute desirelessness is the most important of all qualifications of a disciple.
Annihilate desires. Subdue the mind. Subjugate the senses. This is the holy warfare for spiritual aspirants.
~ Swami Sivananda

The soul, wounded with love for its Spouse, sighs more than ever for solitude, withdrawing as far as the duties of its state permit from all that can interrupt it, The sight it has enjoyed of Him is so deeply imprinted on the spirit that its only desire is to behold Him again. The soul is now determined to take no other Bridegroom than our Lord.
~ St. Teresa of Avila

-------------

Give up passion, anger, greed, envy, jealousy, etc., and cultivate divine qualities like selfless service, renunciation, charity, love, forgiveness, humility and the like. Consider your duties as necessary for your spiritual growth. Try to spiritualise the life of all the members of your family. Observe truth, non-violence and the vow of fidelity in thought, word and deed as far as possible. May the Lord grant you peace, bliss, prosperity and spiritual advancement!
~ Sri Swami Chidananda

Rarely indeed is a man so spiritual as to strip himself of all things. And who shall find a man so truly poor in spirit as to be free from every creature? His value is like that of things brought from the most distant lands.

If a man give all his wealth, it is nothing; if he do great penance, it is little; if he gain all knowledge, he is still far afield; if he have great virtue and much ardent devotion, he still lacks a great deal, and especially, the one thing that is most necessary to him. What is this one thing? That leaving all, he forsake himself, completely renounce himself, and give up all private affections. Then, when he has done all that he knows ought to be done, let him consider it as nothing, let him make little of what may be considered great; let him in all honesty call himself an unprofitable servant. For truth itself has said: "When you shall have done all these things that are commanded you, say: 'we are unprofitable servants.'"

Then he will be truly poor and stripped in spirit, and with the prophet may say: "I am alone and poor." No one, however, is more wealthy than such a man; no one is more powerful, no one freer than he who knows how to leave all things and think of himself as the least of all.
~ Thomas A Kempis

Hi Hitem Goode,

Hope this finds you well.

Before taking up any task, or when you are engaged in it or when you have performed it, say with all your heart to God, "I am wholly yours. I love you. Truly I love you." Pray to Him by saying, "Be with me in my work and dwell within my heart." Even when you are doing such works which are very personal in nature (like having a bath, eating food, going on a road, reading books), you should keep praying to Him.

Never forget that you are a lover of God and He is the most precious object of your love. Think that you are doing your works for Him at His bidding. Be happy to carry out the orders of the One whom you love the most. Work to express your love of Him.

When you fail to do a work which you should do or when you commit a mistake while doing a work, say to God, "Just don't leave me to myself. Give me strength to overcome this situation."

~ Brother Lawrence

Take less, give more.

Speak less, act more.

Chat less, learn more.

Love God.

Think of God.

Speak of God.

Chant the name of God.

Sing the songs of God.

Worship God.

Pray to God.

Cry for God.

Then you will see God.

~ Sri Swami Sivananda

“If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man, but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.”
~ James 3, The Bible

“Save your lips from slip. Watch every word when you speak. Never speak ill of any one. Do not exaggerate. Be true and accurate in your speech. Talk a little. Talk measured words. Give up talkative nature.

Before speaking think carefully whether what you are going to speak is true, kind and helpful. If it is not, do not speak. Mind your own business. Do not interfere with the affairs of others.

If you hear a scandal about another man, do not repeat it to others. Learn the virtue of silence. Do not give opinion if no one has asked you to give it. If you observe the above rules, you will be peaceful and happy. People will respect and admire you. You will attain success in life.”
~ Sri Swami Sivananda
