we are proud of our new style, and consider ourselves a new band since tom joined our band at the start of summer. he's a professional musician, having toured with hundred reasons, hell is for heroes, and formed keiko. he even played a show with feeder last week!
we also take ourselves more seriously now, and as such, our page is for our fans and friends, not for 'criticism'.

if you want to have a serious discussion about our music or style, send us a proper message and we can chat there. we'd even be happy to chat about it at a show, so come along if you want a real conversation. but don't expect us to leave your remarks on the page when we have no reason to want them there.

if you're not really interested in constructive discussion, then that's fine with us.

hey man

we're happy with what we do, and we really enjoy playing together. we're all maturing, and so are our influences. i'm sure that some of your favourite bands will have played around a little to find a style that they are comfortable with, and with the recent member changes in the group, our sound was bound to change. whilst we might not play the same style of music as we did when we were 14/15 (one of our members is 24!), we are proud of what we play and seem to be doing well from it. if it's not your style, that's cool, but if it is, that's equally great. either way, we've had an amazing 6 months, playing around 35 shows from everywhere to ballrooms in edinburgh to club nights in london and everywhere in between. with that, we've written a load of new material which has more accurately represented what we want to play, and we're very proud. other people seem to be really enjoying it too, from the few thousand plays we've had in the last couple of days (since the new tracks went up) and responses from a&r and producers.

we'd love to have your support, and maybe you'd consider listening to the tracks for what they are themselves, or maybe coming to see us play live? in fact, one of the new songs on our new ep is one that ed wrote when he was 16. you might be surprised.

Yeah i got metallica tickets, seated but by the stage. The lower teer ones, yeah the met club people would have got all the standing coz the tickets went on sale to them on wednesday.
