Father Son, based out of Ithaca, NY, promises to offer an energetic, emotionally stimulating, and thought-provoking experience. They recently completed a collection of five songs entitled The Window EP, which they recorded mostly live in Dave’s third-floor studio. For this CD, Father Son employed the aid of a few friends: Ben Slovis, utilizing his mastery of the bass guitar on the album, and Mash Hatae, whose wildly flamboyant tenor sax solo can be heard in the tune "Cold Mountain". It is currently available from Smartpunk.com, No Radio Records (in Downtown Ithaca), and directly from the band (at shows or otherwise). A few Songs are, and will continue to be available for streaming and, in some cases, downloading. Updates will be made frequently to this site to inform you of the latest news concerning this up-and-coming group.
This Saturday, August 23 at Dig Deeper...Young Jessie in his second NYC performance in 50 years - this time backed by the mighty Solid Set and Jaime & Leah from the Nouvellas! Also featuring über soul/funk collector Mike Vague from LA in his first ever NYC DJ gig! $10 advance tickets still available on our Myspace page (they will be $15 at the door). Hope to see you there!

A Angie isn't in 6/8 either. The second verse of damn girl isn't alternating 4/4 and 7/4. All we write is 4/4, three chord pop-punk. In fact, I only use the E and A strings on my bass.
