Rich McMahon is an extremely talented front man, rasied in Wicklow this young Irish lad has played on the live music scene for years, performing both original songs and covers. He has worked with many artists in his time both here and in Ireland.
Ian Reid is a superb multi instrumentalist. A member of The Birmingham Schools Orchestra as a youth, Ian is simply one of the finest Bass players working in the Midlands [and beyond] today. He also plays Banjo, Bouzouki, Whistles to a very high standard and provides fine Backing Vocals as well as being a very accomplished Sound Engineer! Phew!
Mark McCabe is the current 2008-09 Midland Piano Accordion champion, Emma and Mark are also the 2007 Midland Duet champions, must be all the playing live together that has helped! He is well known in Irish music circles across the UK as one of the finest ‘box’ players around. One time All Britain Champion, Mark plays superb Accordion as well as Keyboards and Piano. In the daytime Mark is manager of the Hobgoblin Music shop in Digbeth, Birmingham who specialise in the sale of folk and acoustic musical instruments. www.hobgoblin.com
Patrick Power was All Britain Champion on the Bodhran in his early teens. He is now a superb Drummer and Percussionist, Paddy is incredibly versatile and can play Drums and Percussion across a diverse range of styles.
Emma Millman is the 2007-08 Midland Fiddle champion and Duet champion with Mark. She plays excellent Fiddle style on all Irish material and Violin on Pop material, joining the band in January 2002. Providing more than a little touch of glamour amongst the boys in the band, Emma is All Britain Runner Up on Fiddle and is also a fine backing vocalist!

We have played all over the UK and Ireland throughout the years and have made many friends along the way. We are a very flexible band who provide quality entertainment for Weddings, Bars, Parties, Corporate & Private events. 'The Teds' play a wide variety of music which is tailored to appeal to the audience ranging from fiddle and accordion lead tunes to pop and rock classics. We did of course take our name from the hit TV series which had just hit the screens when we first formed, we are all massive fans of the program if you hadn't guessed. :-)

Thanks so much for making my sisters wedding reception such a success. Everybody loved it. The guests from across the water kept saying ''this is just like an irish wedding''....(erm, yeah?) and the homegrown crowd loved the diddly di music...haha. I have sore feet, but my head is not as sore as it should be.
