About me:

I have more questions than answers about people and life. Forever wondering why some things and people have to act and behave in certain ways.

  • Do you like where you are and what you have become?
  • Have you ever wished that your life was different?
  • Can your relationship improve?
  • Are you producing the results that you want?
  • What makes you feel good?
  • Why do you do what you do?
  • What triggers you to produce your behavior?
  • How do you reach the top rung and achieve success?

These are some of the questions and issues that I would like to share with you. I put my thoughts in writing on my website. Check it out at http://www.about-personal-growth.com

Get Smart!

A customer at Morris' Gourmet Grocery marveled at the proprietor's quick
wit and intelligence.

"Tell me, Morris, what makes you so
smart?"

"I wouldn't share my secret with just anyone," Morris
replies, lowering his voice so the other shoppers won't hear, "But
since you're a good and faithful customer, I'll let you in on it.
Fish heads. You eat enough of them, you'll be positively
brilliant."

"You sell them here?" the customer asks.

"Only $4
apiece," says Morris.

The customer buys three. A week later, he's back in
the store complaining that the fish heads were disgusting and he isn't
any smarter.

"You didn't eat enough, " says Morris.

The
customer goes home with 20 more fish heads. Two weeks later, he's back and
this time he's really angry.

"Hey, Morris," he says, "You're selling me
fish heads for $4
apiece when I just found out I can buy the whole fish for
$2.

...You're ripping me off!"

"You see?" says Morris. "You're smarter
already.
"

don't worry about the people who try to bring you down in life and cause drama; focus instead on the positive friends you have that inspire, encourage, motivate, and help you to grow in life for they are the ones worth having in your life and they are the ones who see you for who you are, loving you and accepting you for you.

our attitude and outlook on life determine how far we will get; we are the only ones stopping ourselves from living the life we want for there's always a chance for things to get better as long as we believe in ourselves and don't give up and quit.

My prayer today (just like everyday) is that you see yourself the way I see you...

Myspace Comments @ 123glitter.com

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." --Marianne Williamson

John Maxwell said this and I thought that it was just great. Really important so I am giving it to you.

"Three things about attitude:

1) Our attitude is a choice.

2) Our attitude will determin our approch to life.

3) Our attitude can turn our problems into blessings."

Attitude really is so important to achieving any sort of goal. Think about what your attitude is like.

Your Friend.

We may be ordinary people but we were put on this Earth to do extraordinary things. I believe we each have it in us the strength and power to create an impact and make a change in this world . We just have to search deep within ourselves and find that courage and that strength that lies in our hearts and put it to use in a good, positive way that will bring about the change that this world needs .

** Ponder, Ponder **

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with the hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give their vacuum one more chance?

Q.
What's the definition of a teenager?
A. Punishment for enjoying sex.

I looked up my family tree and found out I was the sap.

Success is simply a matter of luck. Ask any failure.
