On Dec 2 a good friend and great supporter since the very beginning of the band has passed away. Christoph Moser was an enthusistic music lover, promoter and CEO of the independent music distributor and label Hoanzl. His sudden death left a big hole upon the Austrian music scene.

Over the past few years, the band around front woman Fatima Spar has found its own particular sound. They confidently move in a self-conscious style between tradition and modern age. Without giving in to the music hypes of the day or sacrificing their own musical edges to the market, Fatima Spar and The Freedom Fries instinctively succeeded in finding their place between Alternative, World and Jazz.
Their second long player «TRUST» proves that in a very sovereign way. A few songs from the new CD are featured in the music player above, but you can prelisten both albums here..

L’accompagnement de ces différents styles, et plus généralement, la façon d’utiliser l’accordéon au sein d’une formation seront au cœur du programme.
La semaine sera ponctuée de trois concerts donnés par les intervenants.

That's a nice meal we had together before the show... Unfortunatly we had to meet some people after the show so we had to leave before the end of your set but we catched most of it and enjoyed very much. Just didn't have time to say goodbye...
