Music, the vintage for real black rock band tee shirt, no Poison or unless I'm drinking schnapps. I like it all. Snowboarding, tennis (I can play), hiking, city trekking, no star to 5 star, I've done it and like to do it. Can play a little hoop. Like the San Diego Chargers, but I'm not a "redneck" fan. Enjoy conversation, hearing and sharing stories from the checkered pasts of the wicked lives we have led and are currently living...oh yeah! Love black but far from goth. Like the Blazers and my falafel has made me a 1/2 season ticket owner for next year, yee haw! But bring your binoculars, they way up there.
Music
I like a diverse body of music. Lived in Harlem, NYC for years during the 90's and catered to hip hop and rock stars. Bowie to Biggie. Lived the grunge era and it was alot of fun. Was sad to see it go but all good (or some say bad) things must pass. And fortunately when grunge went out so did Hootie and the Blowfish...I thank the lord for that. Like Nirvana of old and for classic rock love Cheap Trick. Hate most world music and those dudes from the Andes who play the pan flutes at malls, that shit makes me insane. Like an unknown 70's metal band called Starz, lookem up...dated but good original metal. Circa 1975 to '79. Gorillaz are good. Like alt radio to a point untill after the rotation gets repetetive. I (to be humble) have rock music knowledge far beyond that of my peers, few match me. Oh, some of its just glorified trivial pursuit knowledge but some is so much more. Like the English Beat, got to hang out with Dave Wakeling once, too cool. Stars Of Track And Field, The Shins, Portland OR IS the new music venue for the world. Music=life.
Music video by Rogue Wave performing Lake Michigan

Yeah, it's already on rotation at Fred Meyer but this is a jangle rock classic and I know where this is filmed. 80's Cali shroomin' treks baybee!
Movies
1)Little Big Man (1969)
2)Pulp Fiction (1994)
3)Pee Wee's Big Adventure (1984)
4)Mutiny on the Bounty w/Marlon Brando ("Whatever pig god you pray to" best line of all time)
Many more movies do I like but I'll come back and list more later possibly. One activity I do like is going to movies. I prefer the Independent theaters or small 2nd run theaters. Not because they are cheaper, just like the ambience of non corporate. And here in Portland theaters serve beer, thats cool. The Bagdad and Laurelhurst Theaters rule. I detest Tom Cruise.
forgotten catchy white boy Isla Vista rappin'. Too cute. Mellow cat slide rollin' down highway one, checkin' the point.
Television
I don't have cable, but I have TV.
1)LOST
2)Saturday cartoons 1966-73
3)Um...Family Guy
Books
David Icke will make you think reptilians pull Bushies strings. Any book by him is a hoot. I like "Where The Wild Things Are" and "Green Eggs & Ham" too.
Heroes
Rick Nielsen, Richie Ranno, and Nigel Tufnel. Bowie.

About me: I'm a street vendor in Portland, OR and I sell falafels to the public. Always rave reviews, good stories, and mystery await you, at the stand. Kinda like my own "Barbershop" movie life, except I'm outside in Portland's elements. My business is called Fat Kitty Falafel, and I do Farmer's Mkts also and soon will retail my falafel mix retail in stores. I'm very excited about that. I want to be the "Famous Amos" of falafel! Crazy, huh?
Rarely played KROQ 80's hit. Wonder why? Good times. Breakin' 2 Electric Bugaloo days down at Venice Beach. Oh the stories I could tell. Shootouts, good food and waves.
Blazers, Roy win with .08 left to play!
Me 11/8/08 at the Rose Garden, kickin' it w/Greg Oden. What a game!
ESPN NBA Team
Who I'd like to meet: In my field, meet thousands. Like Popeye would have said, "I'll meets who I meets!" Oh, and he would have also said," ha g g g g g g!" Popeye and Peter Griffin are my heroes on their laughs alone, if they existed I would like to meet them.

Check out the new song, "A Message From Gaza," from Hip-Hop's favorite son, Doktah Soose. Written from the perspective of a would be jihadi, the track tells a tale of a disenfranchised young adult who sees life as one tragedy after another. Follow him as he explores the feelings and conclusions he's reached as a result of the suffering he's endured at the hands of his Israeli occupiers.
// FREEDOM FOR PALESTINE // الحرية لفلسطين // LIBERTAD PARA PALESTINA // LA LIBERTE POUR PALESTINE // FREIHEIT FâR PALÄSTINA // 自碱巴勒斯墦ク // VRIJHEID VOOR PALESTIJN // FRIHET FOR PALESTINA // FILISTIN IÇIN ÖZGÜRLÜK //
oh oh oh... I was soooo there.. only my Absinthe was RobistussinDM SugarFree..... and dinner was Ibuprofen. Mmmmm.... Breakie of sickies... thank Pan that I have recovered! *but the cough lingers on....*
I love Madness and English Beat. Remember The Specials? A Brit friend of mine is one of the lads god brother... how is that for name dropping. But the song Madness on my profile is really a song by a guy who lives and sings on the Isle of (Original) Jersey. And you are freakin' making me hungry with all this Tahini this and garlic that. STOP IT :)~
We in the Middle East, not that we speak for everyone, are encouraged and relieved and delighted by the election of Mr Obama – proving that America's ability to renew itself, overcome its own history and defeat its prejudices is incomparable. It certainly throws a grim light on our pathetic attempts at democracy.
Still, we don't hold out much hope for a change in US foreign policy – the deep pockets of the Israeli lobby, the reluctance to side with "the enemy", and the need to keep the arms-based economy turning will see to that. And don't forget, Mr Obama wants to get relected in 2012 – so we're not expecting a policy revolution. Just look who he has picked...
But, hey, I'd take 50 years of Democratic bluster than another year of Republican insanity.
And for you poor sods dealing with the aftermath, I can only hope 2009 is the start of something better.
Morning in America? Well, you've just had midnight, that's for sure...
