Frank and the naked flames were formed in Dundalk IT school of music in March 2006 by guitarist and songwriter Celsey McFadden, who scoured the hills and bogs of mayo looking to form a band but was na sucksessful. We are a six-piece. Vocalist Páidí O'Dubhain is from Rostrevor, Co. Down and enjoys basking with sharks and drinking Jagermeister. Guitarists Celsey and Jimmy Brennan hail from the industrial metropolis of Co. Mayo, bassist/keyboardist Keif Mullis also hails from d'wesht and enjoys chess.
Keyboardist Daniel McDermott is from Co. Cavan and is fond of the aul' red bull and vodka. By our powers combined we form 'Frank and the naked flames'.
Saturday 24th of June was a glorious day for the band when they competed against 113 other acts in the annual Banbridge Buskfest 2006 and received the overall prize.
