If a band could be a sandwhich, Fattback is the Hero. In a given set, Fattback can go from sounding roots rock, to synth-driven power pop, to honky-tonk, to funk and more. Rich harmonies, and often hilarious lyrics seal the deal for the St. Louis natives, who when asked to describe themselves, came up only with "...moose rock". Fattback has been featured twice on KDHX radio, most recently on the Local Artist Spotlight. And also in a review by St. Louis Sound magazine which describes them as having "..clever lyrics and progressive turnarounds..rounded attack, polyphonic riffs..and blessedly tight rythymic runs." Fattback will spend much of 2007 on the road pushing their new release "Briefly A Zombie"
