For fans of the Fat Truckers. This page is made by a Fat Truckers fan, and has nothing to do with the band. Should i say that?. Oh well, if it gets taken off its a loss to the whole myspace community.
The Fat Truckers made one brillliant album, which never got the credit and probably not the record sales it deserved. This page is intended to give the Fat Truckers a place in the long lasting memory of the internet, as there isn't much else out there, save for a rubbish entry in Wikipedia. Its also somewhere you can add Fat Truckers songs to your profile, which is what everyone needs to do at some point in their lives.
Having just slated the Wikipedia article, here it is, as it is actually a good summation of the whole thing:
"The Fat Truckers were a British electro band from Sheffield, comprising Ben Rymer, Mark Hudson and Ross Orton. It also featured Jason Buckle as a part-time member.
The Fat Truckers' music was crude electro which sounded like it was made in the Sheffield bedroom of one of the members.
The band split up in 2004. Orton now works in production with Pulp's Steve Mackey, and has recently worked with M.I.A.. Rymer DJs as part of Gucci Soundsystem, and Hudson has his own band Meat For A Dark Day."
