About me: Florida Atlantic University's Men's Rugby Club is well known in the Southern United States as one of the top D2 Rugby clubs. Not only do they defeat large school powerhouses like University of Florida, Florida State and Miami, but they are involved in community service and volunteer work. As back-to-back Florida State Champions they look to continue the streak. In the Spring of 2007, FAU was invited to the USA Rugby South Colleigiate Semi Finals in Greenville, South Carolina. There they met up with Ole Miss and Arkansas State. It was FAU's first apperance in a post-season national competiton. With a steady number of around 30 committed players, FAU is focused on expanding the skill level of rugby in the state of Florida and set examples for other schools in the state.
The Owls are what most teams want to achieve. Each player is skilled and when put together on the field it shows how a talented team can be as one.
We do not receive NCAA funding from the university and are forced to conserve and work hard to earn the money they need to pay for matches, travel, and equipment.
