I write a column for NONzine in addition to my work on The Faulking Truth. You can read either one online, and NONzine is available throughout the Oklahoma City Metro area.

The first book release from our company TogiEntertainment:

"We plunge from page to page not because of the young diarist's despondency - depression is not especially attractive or compelling - but because we are fascinated to see that while she is fending off demons with the one hand, she is writing verse with the other. Chelsea Marie has performed an act of literary bravado worthy of that archetypal angst-ridden 16-year-old Holden Caulfield - but hers is more real by far."

Holding Hands, By Kelsey Renee Faulk

I'm basically into art, writing, and music....and talking way too much about politics, life, passion, and other stuff that most people don't get at all. And in my spare time....making people laugh (mostly at me, not with me). *sigh*

Oh yeah....I want to change the world. That's all, no big deal. (Editor's note: As it turns out, changing the world is not as easy as one might imagine. I'll keep you posted on any new developments.)

I'm a huge supporter of local music AND art (and have been for an unspecified number of years) because that's where it all begins....so on a local wavelength: Sargeant Cloud and Aranda!!! There are really too many good regional musicians and artists to even list here (so I won't).

My children, who have already far surpassed me in their accomplishments, dignity, and grace. I miss them with all my heart and soul.

Kurt Vonnegut, someone who embraced change...but always managed to remain the same. May he rest in Peace. And Bob Geldof, who should be the inspiration for anyone who has a beating heart. And RFK, who taught me that passion never dies.

About me:

Random stuff:

I always seem to be on the verge of greatness and simultaneously teetering on the edge of eternal obscurity.

I own a signed Vonnegut screenprint. That makes me happy.

Once upon a time, long ago, I got to set up the Dali Jewel Exhibit, which means I actually got to fondle every piece of art. (Jealous?)

I have a restless soul...sometimes I think it's a curse.

My brain revolts against me against me on a regular basis...and wins.

I make stupid jokes all the time just to cover my true feelings....because who the hell wants to see that mess?

(last one) I used to love that I stay up late because it gave me time to think....but now? I hate that I stay up late....because it gives me time to think.

Here's our website, It rocks:
http://www.faulkingtruth.com/

This is weird, in the "it's a crazy world category." I got quoted in the Denver Post, as if what I have to say actually matters. I know what you're thinking, I was thinking the exact same thing: Outcry grows over naked short sales

And another one, all the way from Canada, eh: Saskatoon Phoenix Star

Okay, first I'm going to post some articles from the website. I hand-picked these, some are serious, some not, some are political, some not, etcetcetc, blahblahblah, and so on and so on. We'll start with a few, and add more when I get bored again. Here we go:

One I wrote after catching a cab in New York so I could be in Times Square when Obama was elected:
Change Has Come to America

Here's a little rant about how faulking greedy rich people can be:
The Lords of Gaylordia

This is one about how damn lazy everyone on the internet is, and how "back in the day" we would hit the streets in protest, instead of sitting around whining about everything on MySpace:
Taking it to the Streets

..Here's an article that keeps coming back to haunt me. I wrote it in October of 2005, and I seem to relive it every couple of months. I'm living it this very minute. It sucks.
"For the Greater Good"

This one just is:
Talking To God

This one is interesting because it was written a couple of years ago, and just now seems to be closer to coming true. I hate it when that happens.
Apocalypse Now?

This one is on the website, but I'm linking the blog version from here because it triggered a lot of heated discussion. Heated discussion is almost better than sex (almost).
Woman is the Nigger of the World

And May All Your Christmases be White....

George Talks to God....

Work Hard (And Other Observations of The Obvious)

Fear and Loathing in the 21st Century

I'm not schizophrenic...and neither am I

MySpace is the Devil

Coming Out

The Radical Middle

Nowhere to Hide, Ever (A fist full of love), By Mike Bohling

And....if you haven't already, go read Kurt Vonnegut's "Slapstick", or if you have A.D.D. and can't get through an entire novel, read "Harrison Bergeron" from "Welcome to the Monkey House." If you don't "get it" after you read either one of those stories, don't even bother. Here's an article from my website that explains it in excruciating detail. It's called "'The Secret Vonnegut Society' or 'Subversion as an Art Form'":

I will accept people who get Charlie Kaufman as extra credit.

I have a website called The Faulking Truth, and it's my passion right now. There are some amazing people contributing to the site, and I love them all, even the ones who just hang out and tell us how great we are....especially the ones who tell us how great we are.

Um....we're not really that great, but we're trying. Really, we're dysfunctional, and kind of proud of it. I mean, who wouldn't be?

We're getting half a million hits a month, but I still don't know why. Maybe it's because dysfunctional people really are in control of the Universe.

I don't like yuppies, Neocons, and self-righteous religious zealots.....and people who don't use blinkers when they turn.

I have people living in my head, but for the most part, I ignore them. One of them somehow got a cell phone, and calls me from inside of my brain. It's creepy, but it makes me feel wanted.

I love love, I live for passion, I wish the world was a better place, and that there was more happiness, less greed, and no suffering. I write because it keeps me sane, but sometimes even that doesn't do the trick.

That's all for now. Come visit our website, and add your name to my friend list.

Who I'd like to meet:

These people think that they are going out there to have a "support rally" for the "positive" side of this - the positive side being the side that actually SHOT A STUDENT IN THE CHEST FOR SUSPECTED MARIJUANA DEALING.

Please come to show your support for the VICTIM, Derek Copp, who almost lost his life due to this officers negligence. Don't let them get away with actually supporting this shooting. The officer has already received paid leave and only lost 8 days of work - plus he's only getting charged with a misdemeanor. We can not stand by and allow them to actually believe that this is OK in any way.

REMEMBER - This could have been any one of you or your friends.

See his "supporters page" on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?sid=8f2b91da82389531bc3fd4c434b03212&gid=94456244656&ref=search

Please join the facebook for prosecution of this officer: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=63639918911

Have you a commadore 64 computer or any other vintage technology that we could use in a photo shoot? Perhaps a pair of Air Jordans for the shoes?
