Horse Trade Theater Group presents their first annual NEW YEARS EVE BASH! at Horse Trade headquarters, 85 East 4th Street. The party will be jumping all night long in The Kraine Theater, KGB Bar, and The Red Room. The itinerary for this extra special evening will include a special performance of The Flaming Lip’s CHRISTMAS ON MARS at 8pm in The Kraine followed by a dance party with DJ Joey Nova (RebelRebel, Monday Night Burlesque, Pretty in Pink), live music, a raffle to benefit the 2009 FRIGID New York Festival, and a FREE Champagne Toast atmidnight to ring in the New Year. The Red Room will serve as the VIP lounge all night. Finger foods and FREE BEER will be provided.

Final deadline is August 31.
Winners will be invited to participate in a weekend retreat with industry professionals this November. Professional writers, producers and actors from the industry will critique and workshop the scripts, helping the writer whip their projects into production shape. The idea is to getting everybody's feet wet with the development process. Ideally, this process will create mentoring relationships with LA and NYC professionals that will lead to long term contacts and ultimately will lead the writer on the road to success.
