About me:
I've been asked a few times, so, what do you do? I usually shrug and say, "y'know, stuff..." but here's the long answer: I'm the Administrative Assistant and Visual Arts Director for a local non-profit arts council. That means design most of the postcards, keep up with the email list, serve as webmaster, curate art shows, answer phones, mail stuff, and try to set up art classes for the community along with anything else the bosslady wants me to do. I also serve as Vice-President and blog-master of a photography club. I started the first shop on Etsy.com and also maintain an art site and blog on momentofstars.net. I'm a mother to a wonderful, bright, amazing six year old named Mazzy and wife to the awesome Daniel Foy. In my free time I like to read, paint, draw, write, cook, bake, take photographs (see my photography on Flickr), make zines, and travel. So, yeah, I stay busy. When I'm not doing all that, I like to just sit back with a drink and shoot the breeze.
I'm currently working on: going to school & trying to maintain a 4.0 GPA, keeping a sketchbook, working at TUAC, updating the blog, still wishing to be a tattoo artist, reading as much as I can, attending as many concerts as possible, writing a lot, wearing my heart on my sleeve and saying yes.
