As if our Police have nothing better to do, they are now trying to trick myspace users. The Benton County Sherrifs Office Narcotics Unit has now setup an operation to monitor online activity in the county in response to several intelligence reports of illegal activity on the internet. Essentially they will be targeting users w/ drug related content, & then make contact through messaging. What a waste of time, money & police resources! These officers are not technologically advanced in any way, they're probably using Windows 98. They should be focusing on Child Molestors & violent crime not marijuana!
The undercover officers contacted a local myspace user & were interested in getting some cannabis. The man met the undercover officers in Little Flock (near Bentonville), where he was promptly arrested for 3 ounces. The man is still in custody w/ a $7500 bond.
