We are the Fresno California based rock band Fay Wrays and we are three friends sharing a stage, one playing drums like a flailing banshee against the japanese odaiko while the other two attempt to make sense of the stringed instruments thrown over their shoulders that are being amplified by two overblown amps and together with a reckless abandon we find some sort of timbral connection and dissonance that satisfies the ridged structure of the aural landscape. We have an uncompromising ideal of what our music should be and how it should sound. We play in bars and clubs and garages and basements. With a DIY aesthetic we enjoy helping others out and continuing to do what we love to do, and that is playing rock and roll to the topmost peg.
