OK, lets start at the beginning.
Joe and James Fay began singing and playing guitar together shortly after having their umbilical cords snipped. Their natural abilities and unshakable faith in each others talents were soon transposed into the world of songwriting.
Yet it became apparent that if they were to achieve their dreams and aspirations, it was imperative for them to begin writing and performing as a band. Hand picking the finest fruits from the musical orchard that surrounded them, they joined forces with the rhythm section of Dave Brodie (bass) and Tom Western (drums).
From here Fayze 2 have been on an unstoppable ascendency utilising their blend of musical genres in amalgamation with musical virtuosity, on stage energy and songwriting sensibilities.
Recently, the band have played prestigious gigs at venues such as Manchester Academy, and finished 2nd in a battle of the bands event featuring almost every unsigned band in Liverpool at Bumper currently liverpool's coolest music venue.
Bumper had this to say...
"FAYZE 2 have established themselves as a familiar BUMPER favourite, following their stunning sets in 'The Battle of the Bands Competition 2006'.
In a close run contest, Fayze 2 finished runners up after impressing the judges with their songs- created from varied musical genres crossing over to create a strong Fayze 2 sound. Liverpool jazz legend, Edgar Jones (The Stairs/The Jones) tipped them as his personal favourites and one to watch for the future."
