My name is Tony, my wife Robin & I have owned & operated Fazio's Pizza & Sub's since November of 2002 Here is a little history of Fazio's Joe Fazio 8/31/1938 - 12/06/2001 Joe was born & raised in Brooklyn N.Y. in the early 70's he opend a pizzaria in Oakhurst New Jersey, to this day I believe is still open just different owners. Fazio's Pizza was first opened in 1991 by Joe & Renee Fazio. It had been a couple of pizzeria's prior to that. A couple years after opening Joe sold it to a guy who went out of business in only about 3 months, after taking it back he sold it again a few years later only to have the same thing happen again. A few months later they went out of business and Joe took it back. I Started in the restaraunt business back when I was 15 in Memphis TN, been in the food business since, I love to cook. Everywhere I ever lived I worked in a kitchen. I started working for Joe in 1994, a couple months later my future wife started working there as well. I went with him to Orlando to open a place when he sold the place the second time. He sold the one in Orlando & came back to Gulfport and I followed. We had our differences here & there I left a couple of times & came back. Then he got pretty sick with cancer & I couldn't work with his wife all that well so I left again. Then she made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I came back once again. Next she made me another offer, to buy the place. So I did, and nearly 5 years later still here doing great!! I've tried to keep things as close to the way Joe did things, after all he was my mentor in the pizza business. Joe was also a very stong father figure to me and alot of fellow employees as well as some kids in the neighborhood. He is missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace. We love & miss you everyday Joe!!
