After meeting during college, Julian Baylor (Columbus, Ohio) Patrick McNeal (Middletown, Ohio) and Geron Tate (Columbus, Ohio) agreed that entertainment was the lifestyle and career designed for them. Music had become more than singing to women in dorm rooms or fascinating crowds at area restaurants. It had become the way to turn an aspiration into a reality.
But what sets FBA apart from other groups is their unique blend of talent and musicianship. They realize their respective role in the group and will not sacrifice group success for individual fame. FBA writes all of their material and manages to mix the creative geniuses of each member into each song. However, more than anything else, FBA continues to thrive because they act as if they have been doing this for years. With the resources the group has, FBA promises to give the same level of quality as a seasoned professional. And with their upbeat and confident attitudes you will come to expect nothing less.

If time is of the essence, then FBA has truly made the most of theirs. Having been together since April 2004, the group has made tremendous strides toward becoming a premier act. The group has built an already impressive resume, opening for R & B legends Boyz II Men, releasing and distributing their first CD, and performing twice at Apollo's legendary "Amateur Night" in May 2005, Performing in Columbus' Hip Hop night at Skyebar in August 2006, as well as performing for the President of the United States twice during his visits to Columbus. Studio Audience Appearance on BET's 106 & Park, winning the Columbus Juneteenth Festival Talent Showcase, receiving excellent reviews at Sony's Columbus Showcase, being highlighted on local and national television, and being crowned champions of Power 107.5's "Kiss It or Diss It" showcase for local artists have all contributed to FBA's rapid success. Most recently, FBA's ohio state buckeye songs "Buckeye Anthem - O-H-I-O" and "Are you a Buckeye Fan" have been played over the Columbus airwaves such as the local radio powerhouse WNCI 97.9. FBA's Buckeye Anthem was chosen to highlight ABC's coverage of the Ohio State Michigan game during the game of the century. See the video below
