La propuesta de los californianos nos sumerge en una equilibrada diversidad, desde el songwriting hasta el post rock más comatoso pasando por la enérgica vitalidad del pop con tintes electrónicos y un indie-folk cargado de pianos, guitarra y arreglos osados. Generan un puzzle emocional a ratos dulce, rugoso, vital o melancólico.
Todo ello con una línea común, la voz profunda, bella e intima de Ben Shepard que por momentos recuerda a Tom Yorke y que a nadie deja indiferente.

Modulok trío es el concepto más absurdo del mundo... una combinación irresponsable de alegría, hedonismo y música caliente sin un destino concreto y siempre en la dirección equivocada.
