Now, that destroys the fun of personally asking us individually. You are more than welcome to find out yourself by asking us personally. However it is a mutual agreement that we are into writing, diversified music, designing, directing, and a hint of us seek to perform for the love of the art.
Music
A lot of us have a rather eclectic taste in music, many of us agree on certain selections... others are in a minority. Unanimously, we enjoy certain musicals.
Movies
We'll tell you what not to see: movies based on staged musicals. As much as there are some gems out there, it must not be overlooked that half the time they are way off, and they'll be a poisonous resource hindering your chances of actually working with them due to having a mislead vision.
Books
Plays by Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Edward Albee, Harold Pinter, Terrance McNally, Nicky Silver, Christopher Marlowe, William Shakespeare, and the list goes on. We highly recommend their works among many more, because their quality literature (something cutting edge or has the acclaim of winning awards) needs to have the textual exposure through your reading them. The material will make you more creative by steaming a stimulated mind. Also it will be helpful to know the material should it ever come up in later auditions; you'll never know if will be missing out on working a show (on or backstage) that is perfect for you! In an ideal world, it essential to be constantly reading plays, with classical material being evenly absorbed as well.
Heroes
Those who have paved the way such as the visionaries and the rebels who submitted their content regardless of the way popular opinion feels about the subject matter. Most importantly, we admire the staff of our department because without them, there would be no department, no student representatives, and no lives that have been ultimately changed from having a favorable starting point. It is to be understood that not every campus is in such a situation where there are a good number outlets to explore and master.

There are so many performers around this department from actors to the musical theatre variety. We want them to obtain more bridges to expand their options, in addition to finding coaches to sharpen their talents and unlock latent attributes.
We have the source of a great number of students who would be thrilled to work for the business side of theatre. We want to leave them with the bridges to cross to get there.

We are the Fullerton College Theatre Arts Ambassadors. Our jobs are to serve as your student peer groups in the Theatre Arts Department. We can be here from serving as mentors in the theatrical subjects such as giving our two cents on scenes you are practicing, your résumés, and material selecting among others. With the ongoing events that happen around the campus, and local theatres, we will do our best to get the word out, which will be to our benefit if you let us know about auditions and shows, and we can help it get across further.
Our current Ambassador Lineup consists of 12 students...

You will find them below on the Top Friends, should you wish to contact them individually. Please note that not all of them chose to create a profile, and although they each represent the department, the group as a whole will not be held responsible for the content in their pages... Additional positions in the Top Friends will be Faculty working in the department (where available) and networking affiliations.
Most of the production photos came from Benson Theatrical, visit that site to see more of their work!
Anyone who knows of past ambassadors from the earlier years (regardless if they served for only one semester) please feel free to message us with who they are and when they served (and a photo where available), because we are currently in the process of archiving their pictures in the "Previous Ambassadors" photo album, so we want to know who else represented the department before our current group.
Who I'd like to meet:
We want to meet you! This comes to all varieties: alumni, faculty, theatre students interested in the Fullerton College Theatre Arts Department (currently enrolled or planning to attend the campus, or passing by as an outside student entering a show), outside artist/theatre affiliations hoping to share our network and of course those who have an interest in the arts for educational purposes. So feel free to add us, because we all have an interest in getting to know you. You can easily find at least one of us around the department involved in a production, class, or helping out a faculty member with the intention of encouraging others to get the experience. We are not so different from you, because are going through the learning experience and have eclectic motivations. We look forward to making new colleagues, and of course new friends!

About this page:
I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D

Thanks for the add--this sort of peer mentoring is really important work, and will go a long way towards making the arts about community instead of competition.
Hey Ambassadors! Thanks for friending me. I had a lot of fun working as a theater ambassador, and I wish you all the best of luck this year. Break a leg!
I like the way the profile currently looks. Be sure to not be too gung-ho with the HTML, because too much has the tendency to slow down or crash browsers and not everyone will have fast enough connections let alone updated software for the FLASH portion.. Well crashing browsers, will be sign to the user to stop using Internet Explored (since Firefox and Safari are far more superior.) Other than that, it's looking good! ^_^
