About me: Francis Castelli has been producing commercials since 1991, working both as an advertising agency producer, a production company producer, with experience working in China, New Zealand, USA, Africa and Europe. Now with his own production company Heron Productions, based in London, he offers full production services specializing in the needs of foreign clients. Residing in France he speaks fluent French and basic Spanish. His recent works have included directing a VIRAL commercial for the pest control shop, and a five minute film for Discovery Real Time explaining how their new TV Show London Ink was launched. He has just Directed a piece for the “Global Angels” charity, which is being on-lined this week and will be going on air in the new year, hitting 40 million homes.
He has also been involved in projects outside advertising, including "One More Kiss" directed by Vadim Jean, and two documentaries for the Discovery Channel, one of which was “Nefertiti”, which received a EMI nomination for best use of post production. He has produced art film installations for artiste ‘Maria Marshall’, featured in the Pompidou Centre and the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
Francis believes in an attitude of honesty, lack of cynicism, loyalty and a belief in people. His aim is to maximize the quality of the work by “worrying” every aspect of it in order to bring scripts to life. As both director and producer Francis understands how to facilitate the creative process within the constraints of budget.
Francis is represented by the production company Gas & Electric.
