Let's see, I am in the wrought iron business so I am keen on all kinds of metal work. You can see more pictures at lame website: geocities.com/fciron
also: live music, old stuff, weird stuff, steampunk stuff, funny stuff, neat stuff, keen stuff, sharp stuff, hot stuff (like white and glowy stuff hot,) smushed stuff, art car stuff and dancing.
....
Music
Pirate-vaudeville-klezmer-balkan-punk-proto-jazz-gypsy-latin-madness!! Now with more accordions! Bandoneons! Concertinas!
Old punk rock type with hippie/country roots so I am open to all kinds of music. I just got a new needle for my turntable so I am back to listening to records. Blues, Jazz, old country , whatever is on vinyl and cheap. I even got some Xavier Cugat.
Or anything to do with accordions of any type.
Movies
New Favorite Movie: Seven Signs JD Wilkes (you may know his a Colonel JD from the Legendary Shack Shakers) has made an awesome documentary about authentic southern culture. Hopefully it will be on the festival circuit soon.
Fantasy Mission Force!! It's part of the 'Jackie Chan - Triple Punch Collection'. It is anochronistic, weird, every scene is stolen from another movie, and it makes NO DAMN SENSE!! It's a must see.
Also 'Bruce Lee - The Invincible' in which our hero and his master each go mano a mano with a big hairy gorilla who knows Kung Fu! Actual quote "Those monkey's are tough!"
Television

About me:

I'm Lewis, an Artist-Blacksmith in Louisville, KY. This basically means that I get to spend the day playing with fire, metal, and power tools. If I am careful I can even get paid for doing it. Archived version of an interview by the fabulous Kim Sorise can be heard here. (Free registration required, sorry.) When I grow up I want to travel the world in my steam powered robot (currently seeking funding.)
I have pictures of all my groovy stuff (art-car, historic blacksmith shop, punk rock family, etc.) at Flickr.
I try to write in a blog here. I didn't write in it for a while because I like to deal with some of my personal crap myself instead of dumping it on all of you. "Some of the monkeys pay another monkey to listen to their problems." -- Ernie Cline
I have started writing a bit in my blog again. Mostly pictures of my latest projects and a bit of explanation.
I was married to a lovely gal for 12 years, but it just didn't work out. Our 18 year old son, Marz is taking a year off before he goes to college.
Now that I am single, the ladies should know how I roll. Observe the following:
