Faith Concerts is an active ministry of Faith Lutheran Church, and we operate as a booking/promotional agency for Christian rock bands beginning their ministry. We also provide these same services for more established bands that want to further their ministries. This organization began in August of 2008, and has gained a reputation for promoting/operating great venues. Since its conception, Faith Concerts has booked bands from Dallas and Wichita Falls, TX; Sayre and Altus, OK. In 2009, we look to expand our territory, and help more bands become established. With your partnership, Faith Concerts will be able to reach the youth of this city and beyond.
Our Mission
Faith Concerts’ mission is to reach the youth and the un-churched in a way in which they can relate. In today’s rock music scene, Christian rock bands are gaining popularity. Faith Concerts is a “circuit venue” for these bands, and it provides a wonderful opportunity for them to minister to the youth, and whoever is attending these concerts. Since Faith Concerts is a ministry, we can reach new people with the Gospel, create a working relationship with the community by gaining a deeper perspective on what it needs, and work to serve the community by helping provide for those needs.
Faith Concerts believe that being active in the community is essential to effectively reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ. In our attempts to do this correctly; we ask God to lead us in providing creative ways to proclaim the Gospel. And, in turn; He has answered our prayer, as music seems to attract the people of Southwest Oklahoma.
