About me:
My name is Cherise. I translate my life into song lyrics. I've been in New Jersey for 22 years, which is 22 years too long. I have hopes to see the world some time in my life. I blog. I spend a lot of money on going to concerts and bars. Sometimes both at the same time. Preferably both at the same time, actually. I love road trips with my best friends and an iPod. I love the way an acoustic guitar sounds when you close your eyes and listen. Tattoos are an addiction and a spirit lifter. Body modification is a form of expression and art, but I don't believe in letting it be who you are. It's a piece of your personality, not the whole thing. I like writing poetry from other's point of view. Sometimes it's just better to imagine yourself as someone else for a moment. I'm sarcastic, but sometimes its because I don't know how to tell you how I really feel. Sometimes my sarcasm is better than how I really feel. I will always be a shoulder to lean on, though I can't guarantee the best advice. On long days, I drive my car down to the beach and park. I roll my windows down and play my music quietly, so I can still enjoy the smell and the sound of the ocean. Sometimes I hear a song that makes me feel so hard, I cry. Sometimes I smile just because I think of a certain song. I don't even need to hear it. I don't care to be in a band, but I would love to go on tour one day. I don't believe in a God, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. When I get nervous, I pick at my nails. I have an obsession with lighthouses because my grandmother used to collect them. Now I do. This whole paragraph is random, but so am I.

Who I'd like to meet:
People who enjoy going to shows, walking on the boardwalk, hanging out in downtown Red Bank, road trips, ice cream, good music, taking pictures, tattoos, sushi, driving with the windows down on a sunny day, bars, text messaging, Saves the Day, colors, doing nothing, spontaneous events, and life.
