About me: The mission of FUSION Dance Theater is to fuse together the rich diversity of different cultures through dance. Albertossy Espinoza founded the company in 2004 to expand the boundaries of dance performance by fusing dance, music, costumes, acting, light and set designs to create a wonderland. Through its repertoire, the company touches upon many daily and social issues as well as emotions. With trained dancers of various styles the company offers a broad range of skills both to performance and teaching.
FDT serves as a forum for collaborations among artists and educators to share their talents with the community and the world. The artistic philosophy is to educate and prepare young and old to enter the field of dance as a career or as an enthusiast. To contribute to the art of dance with creations of innovative work and integrate the practices of performance and teaching.
Through music and movement, FUSION Dance Theater welcomes you to a wonderland where dreams and reality come together as one. A FUSION of life!
Who I'd like to meet: Albertossy Espinoza - Artistic Director/Choreographer/Dancer
An actor, dancer and choreographer born in Ecuador and raised in Chicago, Albertossy began
his dance career as a Theater Dance major at Northern Illinois University. His training includes
ballet, modern, jazz, flamenco, hip-hop and folk. After three semesters at NIU, he was scouted
by Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theater and offered a company scholarship. Albertossy soon
became an apprentice and started touring with the company, nationally and internationally. He
also has toured nationally and internationally with Soul y Duende Spanish American Dance Theater,
Walt Disney Productions, Regina Klenjoski Dance Company and FUSION Dance Theater. His other credits include

Sevilla. He was also a proud member of Joel Hall Dancers, Teresa y Los Preferidos Spanish
Dance Company and Winifred Haun & Dancers. His works as a choreographer have been presented nationally from Chicago to California and internationally in Spain, France and Guatemala.
In Los Angeles, Albertossy was a founding member of the Regina Klenjoski Dance Company, discharged duties

Price of the American Dream. Since then he has had a lead role on two more features, "East LA King," "HEELS," a short
film "Crossing Frontiers" and the DVD series Boystown. The Price of the American Dream and East LA King are both available at Blockbuster Video. He is currently working on the feature, "DARKRUX" to be released in 2009.
