About me: We are "THE" Horror Film Festival as part of the SPOOKY EMPIRE'S ULTIMATE HORROR WEEKEND going on OCTOBER 9 - 11, 2009 at the WYNDHAM ORLANDO RESORT Orlando, Florida. This Festival is for HORROR GENRE FILMS ONLY! Films will compete for the 'FREAKY' Award for outstanding achievement in Horror filmmaking in several catagories, including BEST FEATURE, BEST SHORT, BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY, BEST FLORIDA HORROR FILM, BEST FX MAKEUP and AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD. Many distributors were on hand at the 2008 event with several films being pick up for major distribution!
