A short list: 1984, Moby Dick, The Iliad, The Odyssey, The Sun Also Rises, Grapes of Wrath. My opinion of current fiction writers is pretty low. О себе:
I'm just trying this out for the very first time, so here are some of my many varied interests:
I love sports, especially baseball, football and hoops. I play tennis regularly and have for more than 40 years. Same with cyclng - no, not the big, loud, hogs - nice quiet 15-speed road bikes that you self-propel. If everyone in America owned and used a bike 5 times a week, we could end our fuel dependence, reduce the number of people who are obese and/or overweight and generally be a fitter, greener, happier nation of people.
I write regularly. I am the owner/publisher of Downtown Magazine which includes the Collectible Magazine Back Issue Price Guide. I started the Price Guide in 2000 and have been adding to it ever since. It's something I'll be doing the rest of my life and is the core of my business.
I also publish any number of blogs, but the primary ones are:
Downtown Magazine Blog
College Basketball Daily (during the season)
Baseball On Deck - Players of the Day in MLB, plus serious analysis of pennant races, playoffs and World Series.
Money Daily - Stocks, bonds, money, finances (M-F).
I love sports cars, and am looking at a number of models, but not until I move to somewhere warmer by the winter of 2008. I've looked at the Pontiac (don't know which model it is, but the roadster-looking one), Mazda RX-8 or another Nissan 300 or up ZX (preferably with T-tops and turbo).
My mind is constantly submerged in media of some form. I am a former newspaper publisher, so the migation to the web was natural for me. I have way too many business ideas to ever put them all into practice. If you need a business concept, contact me, and I'll sell you one!
I'm also a political junkie. I'm one of three people who actually watch "The McLaughlin Group" regularly. Used to be a Repubican, but 2000 and afterwards turned me into a registered Democrat. OBAMA!!!

Muhammad Yunus - The Nobel Prize winner for his microfinancing concepts. A great man, visionary, honest, peaceful.
Al Gore - Actually, I kind of met Mr. Gore when he was running for president in 1984 (?). I thought he was very convincing then, and he's proven it ever since.
Joe Montana, Ken Griffey Jr., John McEnroe - all great athletes.
Any Spammer - Just so I could smash their computer.
Jamie Hammer - OK, she's just awesome-looking.
The Hulk, Spider Man and the Fantastic Four - I mean, if they existed, who wouldn't?
