Sounds Like
Fearne can captivate an audience of several people in a living room or have the ability to entertain and uplift several thousand.. They sound like a younger voiced more driven Kooks but are not afraid to stretch the formula if it means creating something special.
Fearne are an indie acoustic trio from the world famous sea side town of Bournemouth. They have been playing together non stop for the past 2 years & have built up an impressive fan base in Bournemouth, London, Bristol & Southampton.
At the front Fearne have the powerful & moving vocals of Alex Beds who also plays acoustic guitar in a unique & diverse manor distorting & phasing the instrument beyond normal reach.Nick Bryson backs up Alex with lead bass; his riffs are catchy & provide a perfect accompaniment to Alex’s playing. At the back they are held together by Tom Slade’s smooth & punchy beatz.
Fearne recorded & released their debut album “Colour in a world of grey” which was released on the week of the 1st September, they launched it in Borders (Bournemouth) it entered the Borders National chart at number 41, Charting higher than Take That, Bob Dylan & The Rolling Stones. After this they were invited by Borders to launch the album in stores nationally.
For the first couple of years Fearne wrote songs about life and surroundings. Things like Love, Green Eye Shadow, Cardiff Uni and obsessions with celebs were all covered. 2008 sees Fearne continue their attempt at cracking this industry which is bulit on money, sex, drugs, lies, deceit and gold Chinese cats. join them and see where inspiration takes the music.

Alright guys, keep up the good rocking work and thanks for being our virtual bff :) - I am very much enjoying the Fearne tunes btw, top dog top stuff, Fearne ROCK ! - anayway, do excuse the indulgence, as this is partly selfish, but if you are playing in the London area sometime soon can I be so bold as to recommend the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town as a venue (I don't work for them or anything - if I'm being really honest - it is partly an excuse to show you this nice video of us playing there, but nevertheless doesnt make my gushings about it any less true :) ) - good location, nice big stage, very good sound, somewhere to go out back to have a chat in between times with good ales (or soft drinks kids) - and a video service which we used to make this vid (i have linked below:) (with a few additional cameras of our own, 7 in all, have a quick looksee if you fancy - hope you dont mind, I'm sure you don't .....as I said Fearne Rock ! yeah :)
