Fear No Fish formed in the spring of 2002 with one undivided goal, to bring the roots of old school rock into the modern day, without compromising their sound.
With all members involved having different musical influences ranging from Coheed and Cambria, Reuben, Iron Maiden, The Who and The Jam amongst many others, the music they have created is a standard apart from a lot of the rock bands out there. The combination of the deep growl of the bass, the soaring melodies and rugged tones emanating from the guitar, the thundering drums and harmonious vocals culminate to create something that’s equally enjoyable to listen to as it is to ‘rock out’ to.
Fear No Fish have played a plethora of gigs in a number of different venues. ranging from the Devon music festival, the Birmingham Conservatoire, The West One Four in Kensington, the Water Rats, the 333 Motherbar and many other venues in London. Their music speaks to a very wide audience with their Key demographic audience being males and females ranging between the age of 13 all the way to 60+. This has given them greater scope for performances as they are able to play in a number of different settings and venues.
Fear No Fish believe that the commercial rock music of today has become somewhat indefinable. They want to change all that by bringing in their old school rock influences towards the upbeat feel of modern day rock music. There will be no screaming, there will be no shouting, but it’s going to get messy.
Fantastic upcoming band, Pharaohs, will shortly be releasing their new
EP on All Aboard Records - "We've Tried Nothing and We're All Out Of
Ideas" and to celebrate will be playing a special launch gig at the
infamous Old Blue Last on 4th November!
And think what man??... Don't leave me hanging, lol. Yeah safe, we enjoyed ourselves.... Apart from the poor excuse for a drum kit, lol. Where abouts u geezas from? Ne good venues up ur way that we could get in contact with?
