How have you guys been? I don't think I ever stopped to tell you guys how good the newer material sounds. You got a good thing going and I am glad that we had the chance to meet you guys and play a few shows together. As well as share a great dinner at Texan in Saginaw / Bay City!! Blessings, Wretched ------------------------ FEAST ETERNAL – “With Fire” (Open grave Records) If you like Napalm Death, In Flames, Bolt Thrower, Immortal, and the like, then Feast Eternal is your band. In my world, Feast Eternal leads the pack for death metal. These guys all but obliterated the stage at Cornerstone 2008. Re-listening to this disc, I remember why and how they did that. This disc is simply crushing. It’s like Slayer on their best day. I’m hearing a touch of Canibal Corpse and Deicide, too. But, again, these guys are just better than those two bands. Every song is completely consistent and the guitar riffs just keep coming. My favorite tracks are “Burning Of The Good Man”, Blood Forged”, and the title track. The flaming skull on the cover rules, too.
