Classical music was all I could listen to for my first 13 years, most of my biggest influences have been dead for over 200 years. I am reminded how much I hate the music business every time I turn on the radio, but ironically its all im good at. I believe mistakes must be allowed when recording, it gives the music more character and captures something singular. My oldest brother shared my interest in music and played guitar and cello. After he introduced me to classic rock i knew guitar was my intstrument. He insisted i play cello for 2 years before picking up a guitar so i joined orchestra. After 2 years i finally learned my first song... it was worth the wait! Afer playing guitar a few years i picked up paino without any formal training. My brother developed a drug problem in college and overdosed for the last time in the winter of 2007. Soon after his death melodies would get stuck in my head just out of thin air, when i couldnt escape them i attatched words and they slowly developed into songs. I have decided to make something with the gift he has givin me for both of us and hopefully find peace in the process.
