A party in your ears and you’re not invited... but you crash the party anyway and then you get really drunk and wake up in a tree with no money and mysterious bruises all over your legs. And then you log onto myspace and hear a really cool song...
Thats what it sounds like...
A lot of people have been asking if we are going to make a second season of Backpackers. We don’t really know to be honest. We can’t read the future. We’re not some kind of psychic tv making guys. We’re not superhuman you know... Anyways, While Backpackers2 may or may not ever happen we have been doing something with our time. The wonderful people at XYZ networks have kindly kept a roof over a formerly backpacking heads by hiring us to make the Aussie version of the global cult gameshow classic, "Cash Cab". Season one is on air at the moment so if you get a chance, check it out.
In case you haven’t seen Cash Cab starring the piss funny James Kerley, here’s a little tasty morsel of that too. For more info on the show, click on the Channel [V] link in my top friends list.
Hey there guys! Thanks for stopping by. There have been some pretty massive developments in my musical world of late. I'm now whoring myself around in two seperate bands.
The first is THE GOOD CHINA, a 9 piece put together by the multi-skilled Cara, from Melbourne band "16 Millimetre". Playing in TGC has been heaps of fun and we've just recently finished recording our demo at Break Away Studios in Moorabbin so keep an eye and an ear out on The Good China myspace to hear the new tracks and to check out our upcoming gig dates.
In complete contrast to playing in a band with nine members, I'm also the frontman for an acoustic/violin two piece called STANDING UP HOLLYWOOD STYLE, which is a collaboration with the talented Kat Chishkovsky who has been playing strings and also helping out on the music production aspect of things (Kat and her other bands are in my top friends list so check out her page "miss Kat C" for dates for her stand up comedy and have a look at her other bands "The Hornswagglers", "Catgut Mary" and "Mirra String quartet" for info on upcoming gigs).
So if you feel the urge, drop by the sites and have a listen to some tunes. If you like what you hear, leave us a comment and tell us what you think. We'd love to hear your feedback.
